Husband to Amy. Father to Aiden. I build and maintain the fiber networks North Alabama runs on by day — and the rest of the time you’ll find me in the gym before sunrise, in the garage, or chasing a game somewhere.
I’ve spent 15+ years in ISP and telecommunications engineering in North Alabama — fiber optics, headend and hub infrastructure, the unglamorous work that keeps everybody else’s internet on. That’s the job, and I’m proud of it. But it’s not the whole story.
The two best days of my life are my wedding day and the day Aiden was born. Everything else is in service of giving him the experiences I never had — whether that’s guitar lessons on Monday nights, a homecoming dance done right, or a father-son trip to Las Vegas this November to see Metallica play the Sphere, two nights, two different setlists.
Home is Warrior/Hayden with Amy, Aiden, two dogs, and a cat. Work runs out of the hub sites — mostly Jasper, about fifty minutes up the road — and I’m home by five most days, which is exactly how I want it.
The wife. Disney adult and princess of the house — the happily ever after is her department.
The son. Guitar enthusiast and avid PC gamer — equally dangerous with an Explorer or a keyboard.
The doodle. Runs the house and knows it.
The mutt. Snores like a freight train.
The cat. Supervises everything, helps with nothing.
Two machines, both bought to be driven, not looked at.
Punk’n Orange — the color is half the personality. Six-speed manual, because some things should still be done by hand. Doors off and top down whenever Alabama weather allows — that’s not a look, that’s the default.
FXDC in two-tone Root Beer Metallic — a color that changes its mind depending on the light, deep red in the shade and glowing in the sun. Chrome everywhere it counts and a worn leather saddlebag that’s earned its miles. This is the clear-your-head machine for Alabama back roads.

The home gym, five days a week, 5:15 AM. No commute, no excuses, no waiting on a rack.
I live outside the 49ers’ TV market, so game day takes a little effort — worth it. In F1 I pull for Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli. Baseball means the Braves, college ball means Alabama, and I’ll never turn down a UFC card.
The Boondock Saints, every John Wick, Bond with Brosnan or Craig, anything Guy Ritchie touches, and Project Hail Mary. Guilty pleasure: Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Ask for a favorite and you get three: Frank Sinatra for the crooner standard, Metallica for the heavy end, and Post Malone — the rap and pop-rock years, not country. They headline a 490-song playlist that jumps genres without apologizing.
