About Tofer

Hello! I'm Christopher "Tofer" Nesbitt, a devoted husband and father who cherishes time spent with my family.

In my free time, I focus on personal growth—whether hitting the gym, diving deep into topics that interest me professionally or personally, or researching something new that sparks my curiosity. At heart, I'm a motorcycle enthusiast, and I still enjoy the occasional gaming session.

My family and I love creating memories together on family-friendly vacations, whether we're exploring the magic of Disney World or enjoying a relaxing cruise.

I am an ISP Engineer based in North Alabama with over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. I specialize in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic systems.

My career at Charter Communications has honed my skills in troubleshooting complex issues, managing end-to-end projects, and ensuring high-quality service delivery for video, internet, and telephony. As a former Advanced Lead Field Technician, I've led teams, promoted safety initiatives, and mentored junior staff in high-pressure environments.

I hold an Advanced Technical Diploma from Mortimer Jordan High School and numerous certifications, including SCTE Broadband Specialists, NCTI Technician Certifications, Google IT Support, and OSHA 10 Hour. These credentials underscore my commitment to staying at the forefront of evolving technologies.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about innovation in telecom and contributing to organizations that value performance and growth. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn or reach out via email!
